This started when I was a kid, collecting records and CDs — and I mean collecting everything. If a track had seven different releases, I'd track down all seven. When the world moved on to streaming, I started converting all of it, records and CDs alike, into lossless files so none of it would get lost.
This is a researched Teddy Riley discography and production-credits archive, built from original sleeves, release notes, label information and credited recordings. It follows his work across R&B, hip-hop, pop, gospel and New Jack Swing—from the earliest releases through current collaborations.
But that's not what this website is about. It's not trying to be a second Discogs, cataloging every regional pressing or variation of the same release — it's a database of Teddy's actual work: the songs and records he was part of, not every edition of them that's ever existed around the world.
Somewhere along the way, I got frustrated that nobody had ever built a real database for Teddy Riley's catalog. Building my own lossless collection meant keeping notes on everything, and eventually I figured other people would want this too — so those notes became a website. This one. It's still going, and I don't think it's ever really going to be finished.
Anything marked red in the releases is missing in lossless — either it's not in my collection, or a lossless copy just doesn't exist.
If you know something this archive doesn't — a correction, a missing ID, a lossless file I don't have — I'd genuinely love to hear about it. There's a contact form at the bottom of every page, or just click the little photo in the bottom-left corner and say hey.
From here, it's broken down by decade — every production and remix credit, one sleeve at a time.
